Col. E. Ray Moore and his wife Gail saw years ago the advantages of homeschooling their four children, when homeschooling was just barely getting its modern start. Today you find the Moores still enthusiastic about quality education and actively leading in the Exodus Mandate Project, a call to Christians everywhere to move their children out of the public schools and into parentally-supervised, protected, homeschools or Christian Schools.
Serving for over forty years in pastoral ministry, E. Ray Moore, Chaplain Col. USAR Ret., has worn many hats in service to his fellow man. His duties included campus pastor, army chaplain, congregational minister, and director of a Christian ministry. He and his wife Gail were selected as South Carolina Parents of the Year in 2000 and continue to this day to be model parents, and now grandparents, invested in the educational welfare of children, for the good of the nation.
Co-founder and president of the board of Frontline Ministries, Inc., Col. Moore works diligently to get his message out. Speaking at the Charleston 9/12 Project’s Liberty Rally on April 12, 2014 Ray said, “The culture has turned against God, against our constitution, and against traditional values. Why has this happened? It’s fundamentally and largely because of the public-school system.”
To warn others about the negative effects of a Godless educational system, the Moores have written books, produced YouTube videos, and provided interviews. Author of Let my Children Go and co-author with his wife Gail of The Promise of Jonadab: Building a Christian Family Legacy in a Time of Cultural Decline, Ray Moore has also been involved in film. He is one of the executive producers of Indoctrination: Public Schools and the Decline of Christianity in America (Gunn Productions) and script-writer and executive producer of Escaping Common Core: Setting Our Children Free (Cutting Edge Films).
Increasing school violence, liberal leanings in the school system, and socialistic politics trending among the young makes protecting and educating our children even more important. Instilling religious and family values, morality, and reverence for life, and continually teaching the importance of protecting the Constitution and the freedoms it establishes is critical. Conservative leaders like the Moores are doing their best to wake people up to the dangers staring us in the face and steps needed to protect ourselves, our families, and our nation.
