The "Yellow Jacket" demonstrations on the Champs-Elysees in Paris and throughout France have received scant coverage by MSM despite the reported 106,000 demonstrators across France and thousands of police having been deployed to contain them.
Reportedly the Yellow Jacket (aka Yellow Vest) demonstrations are the result of the rising cost of fuel ($7.06/gal). But a less biased. less superficial analysis reveals that they are also a reaction to the ploys of business elites and globalists against ordinary French citizens. Joshua Caplan of Breitbart News (Nov. 24) identified the Yellow Jacket Movement as a "populist-style revolt against the French elites."
What argues in favor of Caplan's position, as pointed out by Chris Tomplinson in Breitbart News (Nov. 28), is French author Renaud Camus' observation "that practically all protesters belong to the indigenous, colonised, invaded, conquered people, the ‘natural’ French people.”
Camus told Breitbart London that "the recent 'Yellow Vest" protests are a grassroots reaction against the Davos elite who view working people as worthless 'human Nutella.'"
Camus added that “replacers” were “emphatically absent” from the protests.
"Replacers" is a reference to Camus' book The Grand Replacement (2012) in which Camus argued that native white Europeans are being "replaced" by non-white immigrants who are overflowing into the Continent.
Camus explains in his book that “The great replacement is very simple. You have one people, and in the space of a generation you have a different people . . . But peoples, civilizations, religions—and especially when these religions are themselves civilizations, types of society, almost States—cannot and cannot even want to . . . blend into other peoples, other civilizations.”
Yellow Jackets (or Yellow Vests) take their name from a luminous yellow safety vest all drivers in France must carry to wear in an emergency.
