House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler Announced his intentions to start impeachment proceedings against the President of the United States, despite House leader, Nacy Pelosi saying that the proceedings are too divisive right now.
In an interview with CNN, Nadler said:
" We are investigating all the evidence, gathering the evidence. And we will [at the] conclusion of this — hopefully by the end of the year — vote to vote articles of impeachment to the House floor. Or we won’t. That’s a decision that we’ll have to make. But that’s exactly the process we’re in right now."
Nadler claims that Pelosi supports and is cooperating in gathering evidence and moving forward toward impeachment proceedings.
Nadler claims that the Mueller report does not exonerate the president, but rather shows that he obstructed justice.
