In 2018, I wrote “Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump,” my most recent book to reach the New York Times Bestseller’s list.
The book examines how Hillary Clinton’s shattering and unexpected defeat in the 2016 presidential race caused the core of the Democratic Party to shift dramatically to the extreme political left. Determined to end the Trump presidency, Deep State Clinton and Obama loyalists in the Justice Department and the FBI, in conjunction with equally disloyal elements of the U.S. intelligence agency apparatus at the highest levels joined forces to charge Trump stole the election from Hillary by colluding with Vladimir Putin and Russia.
Specifically, charges deriving from what came to be known as the Steele Dossier — a specious and highly salacious document developed by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele and paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee — charged that Putin had compromised Trump into becoming a Russian asset after Russia gathered evidence of supposed Trump bizarre sexual behavior when visiting Moscow.
These allegations evolved into charges that Trump colluded with Russia to steal DNC emails so that Putin could deliver the stolen emails to Julian Assange. To complete the collusion circle, the Clinton-Obama operatives sought to connect Trump to Assange to complete their impeachment case against Donald Trump.
I argued in the book that Democratic Party principals and their allies in the U.S. justice and intelligence systems had developed an ideologically-driven Trump Derangement Syndrome that could not be refuted by facts, even when Robert Mueller’s Office of Special Counsel reported “no Russian collusion” after an extensive investigation that entrapped me as a witness.
The book warned of the degree to which the socialists controlling this radical Democratic Party were willing to use Antifa violence in the streets as the enforcement arm aimed at punishing Hillary’s “deplorables” as racists opposed to the left’s progressive agenda. I argued a fight was needed to save Trump’s presidency that would involve going beyond refuting propaganda accusations against Trump with real achievement in Trump’s America First agenda to “Make America Great Again.”
