“Yellowstone Club” Bankruptcy Case Returns to Give the Deep State Another Nightmare

A lawsuit filed in a relatively obscure federal courtroom located at 400 South Virginia Street in Reno, Nevada, will soon give the Deep State another nightmare.

The case brought by Tim Blixseth threatens to blow the lid off of a 1990s Bill Clinton financial scam that involves famed Yellowstone Park, that extends to a rogues gallery of Obama administration political operatives including Lanny Breuer, U.S. Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division from 2009-2013, and ends up at the doorstep of main actors in the now rapidly unraveling DOJ/FBI “Russia collusion” hoax, including Robert Mueller and James Comey. Breuer had previously served as White House special counsel from 1997 to 1999, assisting President Clinton during his impeachment trial.

In this new case, the Deep State has reason to worry, not only because Blixseth has spent years documenting his claims, but also because the case was assigned to U.S. District Judge Robert Clive Jones, who has a reputation of being one of the most adamant anti-government judges in the notoriously liberal 9th Circuit. The left-leaning press in Nevada has prayed that Jones would resign, but the judge appears determined to remain on the bench until the Blixseth case is heard.

The Yellowstone Club Swindle

Blixseth’s case involves Ron Burkle is the college-dropout supermarket-king who started out as a bag-boy in his dad’s neighborhood grocery, only to create his own wealth buying and selling supermarkets through his private equity firm Yucaipa Companies. As a west coast supermarket king, Burkle advanced to become a Democratic Party operative who not only paid for the impeachment defense of President Clinton, but also raised more than a reputed $1 million for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign. Burkle and Clinton lived in the fast lane, engaged in an early form of airplane hijinks that would presage the Clinton escapades with Jeffrey Epstein.

The case involves an exclusive residential community known as the “Yellowstone Club” that Blixseth developed. The case also involves a rancorous divorce in which Blixseth’s former wife, Edra, took up with Sam Byrne, the managing partner of Boston-based CrossHarbor Capital Partners. Blixseth alleges a complicated scheme involving Credit Suisse bank as Burkle and Bill Clinton, in cahoots with Edra Blixseth and Sam Byrne, conspired to throw the Yellowstone Club into bankruptcy.

On June 13, 2012, writing for WND.com, I reported having obtained several hundred pages of documents alleging that then Attorney General Eric Holder, and Lanny Breuer, then the assistant attorney general for the DOJ’s criminal division, intervened to block recommended federal prosecutions in an ongoing dispute involving the exclusive Yellowstone Club, a private golf and ski resort now owned by supermarket billionaire Ron Burkle and international bank Credit Suisse.

Then on June 20, 2012, I reported in WND.com allegations by Blixseth’s attorney Mike Flynn, that Holder and Breuer sought to shield from federal criminal prosecution the bank Credit Suisse Group AG, a client of the Washington-based law firm Covington & Burling, as well as key Democratic Party operatives suspected of playing a role in allegedly fraudulent mortgage financing and bank lending practices.

Before joining the Department of Justice in the Obama administration, Holder and Breuer were partners at Covington & Burling. This is the same law firm that General Michael Flynn’s attorney Sidney Powell has alleged conspired with Mueller prosecutor Brandon Van Grack to convince Flynn to accept the plea deal at the center of the current controversy with Judge Emmett Sullivan, who refuses to accept Attorney General Barr’s decision to drop Flynn’s case over prosecutorial misconduct.

Blixseth Files a $20 Billion Lawsuit

The case currently before Judge Jones involves Blixseth’s complaint against several government agencies including the IRS, ICE, the FBI, and the DOJ. The complaint alleges that former high-ranking government officials including Lanny Breuer used their government positions and agencies to help the new owners of the Yellowstone Club to suppress Mr. Blixseth’s legal remedies and civil rights in the process of destroying over a billion dollars of Mr. Blixseth’s net worth.

Breuer is known to have a longstanding friendship with the majority owner of the Yellowstone Club, Ron Burkle. The group stood to make a billion dollars plus through the conspiracy. Some of the other government officials named in the case include former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer, and current Montana Governor Steve Bullock.

Mr. Blixseth has long accused the new owners of the Yellowstone Club of manipulating the bankruptcy process and blaming him for the bankruptcy after he had given the club to his ex-wife in their divorce.

In a phone interview today, Mr. Blixseth said, ” This is a classic example of private investors using their friends with high ranking Government positions in an illegal and perverse way.” He asserted that officials in the Obama administration used multiple branches of government to attack him, a private citizen, for the benefit of their friends.

“They did it all for love of money,” he insisted.

Interestingly, Michael Flynn (not to be confused with General Flynn), attorney to Tim Blixseth, previously served as legal counsel to Monica Lewinsky. Flynn represented Lewinsky in another case involving Lanny Bruer and Ron Burkle – a case that dealt with financial payments to Anthony Pellicano, the convicted private investigator who allegedly illegally wiretapped Hollywood celebrities and others, including Lewinsky.

Approximately 120 boxes of material involving Pellicano’s work for Breuer and the Clintons was seized in a raid of Pellicano’s offices conducted by the Los Angeles U.S. Attorney. Subsequently, these boxes “disappeared” inside the Breuer-controlled Justice Department.

Mr. Flynn told me when I was reporting for WND: “I know how Burkle and Breuer operate, they are protecting Credit Suisse, Covington’s client. The American people need to know what is happening inside the Holder controlled Justice Department. In my 42 years of trying high profile cases, I have never seen such corruption. The fox is now guarding the hen house.”
